Ravenclaw Head of House
Look, I don't know how I got roped into interviewing a Professor, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Professor Stewart really cares about her students in a weird, motherly sort of way. Maybe that's why she's Ravenclaw's Head of House? Anyway, I had a chance to sit down with her and really pick at her brains.
I know we've had our differences, Professor. But I'm actually glad you came back this year (even after Scrimgeour fired you). What did you miss most about your students?
Thank you, Ms. Spinnet. I felt that I could not abandon the students after such an... eventful term. I've missed their presence in my life, after all, they've become an integral part of it. Even you.
Thanks! How do you approach your role as a Head of House?
With a lot of positive energy and a clear head. With pre-teens and teenagers, I never know what to expect. I try to make it my duty to listen carefully, to process and understand their situations, and to help and encourage as much as possible.
What's it like being old AND single? I can't relate.
I may be old chronologically but I'd like to think that I'm young at heart. As for my relationship status, you need to have your information updated, Ms. Spinnet.
We all know Professors aren't supposed to have favorite students, but who's your favorite faculty member? And... least favorite?
That would be an ex-faculty member. My best friend, Ansley Finch. I have no least favourite.
What's the WEIRDEST thing you've had to confiscate from someone's dormitory?
Two toilet seats. Let's just say to this day I have not figured out who put them in the fourth year boys' dorm or why.

Ravenclaw Prefects
This year the Head Girl gig went to none other than Chloe Kettleburn. The strange Ravenclaw found herself in quite a hairy situation this term, but somehow managed to keep a positive outlook throughout. I'm actually going to miss Chloe. Or maybe I'll miss her cookies. Either way, she was gracious enough to let me interview her for all of you, so keep reading and stay weird, Hogwarts!
Hi Chloe, you look nice. Did you do something different with your hair?
Other than the fact that I was covered in fur and now I'm not? Nope, not a thing.
How did you feel when you got the promotion? Head Girl is a preeeetty heavy burden to bear.
Honestly, I was pretty sure that the headmaster made a mistake at first. It's obviously an honor, but there are a lot of very impressive leaders in our year. I've just tried my hardest to deserve it.
What’s one thing people don’t know about being the House Prefect/Head Girl?
They don't know that you live in constant fear of disappointing the headmaster! He's such a delightful grump, but he takes these student leadership positions very seriously.
I’m supposed to ask you more about being a student leader, but that’s boring. Let's move on. Do Ravenclaws ever throw parties or do you guys study ALL the time?
We had a sleepover party this term! Sleeping bags, pillow forts, a hot cocoa bar... Ravenclaws know how to party in our own way.
If you had to think of one word to describe each of your years at Hogwarts, what would your list look like?
Please, I'm a Ravenclaw. We use six words when your average student only needs one. I would need at least twelve inches of parchment to explain my time at Hogwarts. Let's say... exciting and fascinating and terrifying and, in the end, very hairy.
You had a pretty weird year, I reckon all that hair must’ve been a nightmare. What was running through your mind every time you looked in a mirror?
"WHO IS THAT WOOKIE?" Followed by worrying about if I would have enough conditioner left to make it through the next shower.
What will you miss the most about the school? What will you miss the least?
I think I'll miss being able to turn a corner and find a friend there. And the immediate access to books and learning and creatures and professors who know all the things. But I will absolutely not miss arbitrary rules, although those are gone this term.
If you had a chance to relive one moment from your last seven years here, which moment would you choose and why?
Swimming with Mr. Henry was a career highlight. Just some of those once in a lifetime type events. I don't really believe in trying to change the journey.
You come from a big family, right? Did your siblings give you any advice before you got here? …. Was any of it ACTUALLY useful?
I have three siblings. My two older ones don't really bother with advice, although they're pretty bossy. But I took my tips from how they got through school. They're better at being with people than I am and they're better at being comfortable in the world, and I'm a firm believer in faking it until you make it.
And… do YOU have any parting words for the next generation of Hogwarts students?
Just figure out who you are and know that you're enough. The world will tell you that you need to be prettier or cooler or smarter or nicer or more interesting or more mean, but you don't have to be anything more than what you are.

Jackson Thomas, to put it plainly, is pretty dang normal. This is saying a lot as far as Ravenclaws go by the way. He's pretty much your average joe. Plays an instrument or two, likes to go on outdoor adventures, down-to-earth, blah blah blah. While I couldn't get him to admit any of his dirty little secrets, it was a pretty pleasant interview. Keep reading to find out more, you know the drill.
For starters, I literally don’t know anything about you… no offense. Could you give me your name and two fun facts?
Well for those out of the loop, my name is Jackson Thomas. Uhh... Before this year, I never would have believed anyone that said I would be on the Quidditch Team (even as a reserve!)... I could barely stay afloat on a broom, you know? And for fact number two... I have a kitty named Cat Eye Moody, and I may have snuck her in to class a few times.
Ravenclaw did pretty well in terms of points this year, how did you contribute to that?
Well the easy stuff is going to class and trying... Most of the points I get are based on effort and attitude. I'd like to think I was more of a positive influence than a negative one anyway...
What’s your least favorite part of being a prefect? I reckon it can’t all be sunshine and rainbows.
Well I guess it depends on what you compare it to, but comparing this year to last makes it seem pretty damn close to sunshine and rainbows! But in all honesty, I'd say the worst part is catching a friend doing something that you have to report or take points from people... That stuff.
Who is the prettiest girl in your year? Prettiest boy? Don’t worry, this will stay confidential.
I... feel... like... this.... is... a... trick... somehow... Sorry, no comment.
So, like, what do Ravenclaws do for fun?
Contemplate and study mostly... Hah! Nah, I mean... Some of us do, but THIS Ravenclaw likes playing the piano, video games, and if anyone wants to go with, I've been wanting to have a big camp out with friends or something.
What’s one thing you wish Hogwarts had? I personally would LOVE an elevator.
Haha, yea, an elevator could be helpful... but with the amount of students and everything, I can only imagine the elevator packing its bags and quitting. Haha! I wish Hogwarts had a Pensieve of great thoughts collected from great minds so that we could delve in once in a while. Think about how much more fun (no offense, Professor) History of Magic could be if you were ACTUALLY THERE?! I don't know, I'd love to have something like that personally.
Only a Ravenclaw would say something like that, geez. Have you made any summer plans yet?
I mean, nothing is set in stone, no, but I like visiting my parents in the states for a bit. Although my mum made a trip to visit last year so maybe I can get dad to come too this time... I was serious about big hang outs though, so maybe I'll set something like that up.
What will you miss the most about your CoPrefect/Head Girl?
You know, I was lucky that she dealt with me so well I think. I know I can be a little much sometimes, so I'm grateful to have had a sane partner!
A lot of crazy things happened this year (love potions, polyjuice, weird mutant creatures). How did you cope?
It's just... at this point... it's Hogwarts. Constant Vigilance!
If you could save Dopple by sacrificing another Professor, who would you throw into the pit of pink mutants?
Hey hey hey I have another year to go at this school! I don't need that shade from a professor all next year. I'll say Professor Wayland... Because hopefully he knows how to handle those things.
